Amplitud AI Inc. ("Amplitud AI", "Amplitud", "we", "us") builds AI-native software for medical clinics. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers this website (amplitud.ai) and the Amplitud AI product (the "Service").
On this website. If you join our waiting list or request early access, we collect your name, email address, and any details you choose to share about your clinic. If you email us, we keep the correspondence.
In the Service. Clinic staff accounts include a name, email address, phone number, and role. The Service processes clinic operational data such as appointments, schedules, and patient communications on behalf of the clinic that uses it. The clinic controls that data. We process it only to provide the Service under our agreement with the clinic.
Automatically. Standard technical logs such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited, used for security and to keep the site working.
Parts of the Service connect to Google services when a user chooses to link its Google account.
What we access. With the clinic's explicit consent through Google's sign-in flow, the Service accesses basic Google account information (email address and name, to identify the connected account) and Google Calendar data (to read availability and create, update, or cancel appointments the clinic asks for). The Service does not request access to Gmail.
Why. Only to provide clinic-facing features: scheduling appointments on the clinic's calendar. When an appointment includes the patient as a guest, Google Calendar sends the invitation and updates to the patient directly. We do not use Google user data for advertising. We do not sell Google user data. We do not transfer Google user data to third parties except as needed to provide these features, to comply with law, or as part of a merger or acquisition with notice.
Limited Use. Amplitud AI's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Human access. Our staff do not read Google user data except with the clinic's permission for support, for security purposes such as investigating abuse, to comply with law, or where the data has been aggregated and de-identified.
Retention and revocation. Google access tokens are stored encrypted and used only while the connection is active. A clinic can disconnect Google access at any time inside the Service or from their Google Account at myaccount.google.com/permissions. When access is revoked, we delete the stored tokens.
Some processing in the Service runs on self-hosted AI models operating entirely within our own infrastructure. Data processed by these models, including any Google user data, stays local to our systems and is never transmitted to any model provider. We do not permit any AI provider, hosted or self-hosted, to use our data or Google user data to train or improve their models.
To provide and improve the Service, to respond to requests, to send waiting-list and product updates you asked for, and to keep the Service secure. We do not sell personal information. We do not use the data we process for clinics to train generalized AI models.
We share information only with service providers that host and operate the Service under contract (such as cloud infrastructure and communications providers), with the clinic that owns the data, when required by law, or in a corporate transaction with notice. Providers may process data only on our instructions.
Data is encrypted in transit. Access is restricted by role and by tenant, so one clinic's data is never visible to another. We review access controls regularly.
We keep waiting-list information until you ask us to remove it. Clinic data is kept for as long as the clinic's agreement is active and deleted or returned afterward, except where law requires longer retention.
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to remove you from the waiting list, by emailing support@amplitud.ai. Patients of a clinic should contact their clinic, which controls their records; we assist the clinic in responding.
The Service and this website are not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their information outside of clinic records controlled by the clinic.
We will post any changes to this policy on this page with a new date. Material changes will be announced to registered users by email.
